Bringing a new furry friend into your family can be one of the most exciting moments in both you and your pup's lives. However, your new puppy does not come with an instruction booklet and that’s where Better Together Dog Training LLC comes to the rescue!!
Training starts as soon as you bring your pup into your home. It is easier to teach your pup what to do rather than correct behaviors that have formed into poor habits. Through in-home training (that’s where I come to your home), we go through a four-week puppy program teaching your pup the following:
- Potty training
- Crate training
- Feeding schedule
- Nap schedule
- Getting used to walking on a leash
- Getting used to being brushed, nails clipped, teeth brushed, ears checked
- How to play with toys/bones
- The beginning stages of obedience training
- Puppy manners
- How to prevent jumping up at people
- How to prevent mouthing on people and clothing
- How to introduce a puppy to people and dogs
- How to get the pup used to going in a car using a seatbelt
